In 2001, Jo Williams, a massage therapist and former elementary school teacher, founded Healing Hands, Healing Hearts. Jo was taking care of her aunt with cancer when she recognized the benefits of massage for people in hospice care.

Today, Healing Hands, Healing Hearts remains a non-profit organization committed to offering compassionate services, such as therapeutic massage, healing touch, energy work, guided visualization and meditation to clients throughout Sacramento, Placer and Yolo counties. Our purpose is to support and complement traditional medical care - not to replace it.
